Accountant

Well-established North Shore based employer is looking for an Accountant to join their busy team in Albany.

This is a permanent PART TIME opportunity. But, for the right candidate employer is willing to offer FULL TIME hours (40 hours a week).

Part time hours will be rostered between Monday- Friday 8AM-4PM max of 20 hours.

Full time hours will be Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM.

Hours of work will be discussed further at the interview. Employer is open to flexibility.

You must have chartered accountant (CA) qualification to be considered for this role.

You will naturally have strong accounting and analytics background with the ability to lead, manage and drive improvements to financial processes.

This role includes a variety of work including completing GST returns, Supplier payments, customer credit control including AR collection, liaising effectively with sales, production, purchasing and shareholders, processing payroll/ HR duties, preparing tax returns, and working towards preparing full financial statements including administrative duties.

You will have the following skills and experience:

Ideally, you will be CA qualified and have the confidence, knowledge, and experience to advise and implement Accounting & Reporting tools and processes.

You will have proven experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment and have IFRS knowledge.

You are someone that understands New Zealand financial policies and terms.

You will naturally have strong accounting and analytics background.
