Dental Assistant

A dental centre in St.Johns is looking for a Dental Assistant to join their team. Duties include: Greeting patients and making them feel comfortable, Infection prevention and control procedures, Instrument reprocessing in sterilisation area using the advanced disinfection and sterilisation equipment, assisting the dentist with general dental, orthodontics, paediatrics, special needs dentistry, myofunctional therapy, and full mouth rehabilitation treatments, maintaining supplies and stock levels, ordering and managing dental supply expenses, transcribing dentist’s dictation and dental charting, maintenance of dental equipment and instruments, giving post-operative instructions and making follow up courtesy phone calls to patients, taking patient enquiries and make appointments and general cleaning maintenance.
