We are currently recruiting for the position of Short Order Cook/Chef. This position is for a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as required. Must have previous experience cooking in a restaurant or similar.
We are seeking an experienced person who is passionate about food and takes great pride in their presentation. You should have innovation and flair, pay meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to work well in a busy environment, as well as work unsupervised. You will be required to do the menus and the ordering in of produce and be responsible for the other kitchen staff. Other duties as required. Your daily job involves: • Organising the menus • Ordering stock • Overseeing kitchen staff • Customer driven focus
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and food safety standards
Job Requirements
Must have a minimum of two years recent experience in a similar role. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Days of work
- 11am - 2pm (Lunch) 5pm - 8pm (Dinner) x 6 Days a Week Hours May be longer on occasions. (30 hours per week)
