We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team as Site Manager in Levin. The duties of this role include: Working closely with the Kennel and Adoption manager, ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met, manage all aspects of HR at the site, ensure the site operates within the GRNZ welfare standards, be responsible for all aspects of administration. You will liaise for the Adoption Agencies in the North Island in association with the Kennel and Adoption manager, ensure every animal on site gets adequate daily exercise and staff comply with walking schedules and exercise routines, manage the maintenance of the facility - weeding, lawn mowing, cleaning and fixing broken or faulty equipment. Other duties include stock management, timesheet recording, staff management - rosters, absences, shift cover. You will manage the daily routine of kennel cleaning, feeding, walking and enrichment, implementation of protocols and procedures, manage health and safety of all personnel and dogs onsite and work with the Welfare and Strategy Manager to ensure ongoing training and upskilling of all staff.
To be successful in this role you will need to have or be prepared to obtain: A strong work ethic, experience as a team leader, good communication and time management skills and experience managing staff and dealing with HR issues.
