Community Support Workers (Home Based Care)

A Wellington Region based employer is searching for Community Support Workers (Home Based Care), to join their busy team. Duties will include • Assisting the client with personal care - showering, dressing etc. • Home help, shopping assistance, and meal preps • Supporting exercise programmes • Moving and handling using hoists and manual transfers • Assisting the client to access the community Ideal candidate would have: - • Experience in personal cares • Experience in Complex Cares (Bowel and SPC Cares) and Challenging Behaviours would be preferred • A Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Health and Wellbeing would be an advantage, however someone looking at making a career in the Healthcare Industry would also be considered for this role.
