An Otira based hotel is looking for a reliable and well-presented individual to join their team as an all-rounder (front of House, wait and cleaning staff). Previous Hospitality experience is required, and some training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills and basic cooking and cleaning skills. Duties include: • Customer service – checking in customers, receptionist duties. • Coffee making – serving to customers. • Hotel cleaning – cleaning and changing bedding, Room cleaning. • Cooking – helping in the kitchen.
This is a fixed term contract starting ASAP until the 30th of April 2024. You will be working a minimum of 30 hours a week. The hotel is open from 8am to 10pm 7 days a week and shifts will be rostered between those hours. Candidates must be flexible with working hours. Some accommodation may be available for the right candidates.
To be considered for this role candidates must: • Be drug and alcohol free. • Have previous hospitality or hotel work experience. • Be willing to help in different areas of the hotel when needed. • Be flexible with work hours. • Be tidy and presentable as this is a public facing role.
