Network Road Inspector

Due to an increased workload within the Region, a local employer is on the lookout for a Network/Road Inspector to join their team and deliver the good work around the region. This is a varied role and day to day will never be the same. You will oversee the Hutt City Council roading network and day to day operations will have you: - Request, collate and understand utility maps, prints, and aerial imagery to assist in identification of underground services. - Mark the location of underground services in accordance with local authority / industry guidelines. - Prioritise work activities by reviewing all locate requests to determine travel route and timelines. - Keep managers & Supervisors informed of any potential or actual problems associated with contracts, clients or resources including quality issues and network issues. Job Requirements
Ideally you must have: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written - The ability to liaise with staff, management and the public easily and professionally - Relevant qualification or experience in a similar position - Understanding and experience of RAMM Contractor and MS Office Software - Excellent time management and safety record - Must be able to pass a drug test - Must have a full licence
