Kiwifruit Summer Orchard Workers
About this job
Kiwifruit summer orchard workers are required for a fixed term contract October to December 2023. Location Te Puke, Paengaroa and Pongakawa surrounding areas. Duties include flower, bud and fruit thinning, crush tipping, male pruning and summer pruning. You will be on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time. This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available. Closed footwear must be worn on the orchard, gumboots and sneakers are suitable. Tools are provided by the employer. Training is provided. You will be required to have secured accommodate within the daily distance to the Te Puke area prior to applying. Must have own transport. Start date 30/10/2023 to 22/12/2023 Must be drug free Criminal conviction are case by case-Previous charges of theft/burglary, serious assault will not be considered Must have own transport Experience preferred but not essential
