Holiday Park Assistant * **
You are employed to assist in the successful day to day running of a Fox Glacier Holiday Park.
Reception -Taking telephone enquiries and bookings. -Checking in guests. -Checking out guests. -Upselling of products, i.e upgrading accommodation, Memberships, spa hire, bike hire etc. -Provide local and sightseeing information. -Organising guests adventure bookings i.e Helicopter rides, jet boating, skiing etc. -Email correspondence. -Keeping stock in reception area up to date and full – i.e brochures, maps etc. -Keeping reception area neatly presented. -Assisting guests wherever possible to ensure they have the best stay possible.
Housekeeping -Cleaning and servicing of accommodation daily. -Cleaning of communal facilities including bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, BBQ’s and BBQ area daily. -Assisting with park laundry. -Servicing of units. -Any other areas of the holiday park which may need cleaning.
Maintenance/Grounds -Assist with any maintenance as follows: - Cleaning facilities. - Cleaning BBQ’s, vehicles, power washing walls, windows and patios. -Playground maintenance. -Site maintenance. -Lawn mowing. -Gardening and minor tree work. -Rubbish collection and recycling. -Building maintenance. -Bike maintenance . -Any other jobs within reason, as required and instructed by management.

Qualifications and Experience -The ability to communicate effectively.
