Land Care and Maintenance Worker

A Farm Maintenance Worker is required for an Ohaupo berry farm. This work involves grass and weed control, grounds maintenance, assisting with berry harvest duties as needed, general maintenance of grounds, spray program execution, grass and weed control inside tunnels. Machinery and equipment maintenance is also part of this full time day time job. Experience in farm harvesting work or machinery maintenance is valuable as part of the role is maintaining the harvesting equipment. Some knowledge of spraying and fertiliser application is a bonus. The successful applicant for this fixed term role will be required to work through the Christmas period. Summer is peak season for this employer. Job Requirements
Applicants will need their own transport and at least a restricted drivers licence to get to the farm. Must have at least 1-2 years of building experience. Must be able to work independently. Candidates must be drug free
