Hostel Assistant
About this job
A busy city hostel is looking for a capable individual to help with the hostel's daily operations. With a "Can Do" attitude, you will be responsible for ensuring clients are happy with the service they receive and keep returning again and again. The role is 80% Guest facing and will require you work with the team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will understand that sometime you will need to get your hands dirty to help the team to ensure the job is done. The Hostel Assistant's role is Part-Time with shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Requirements
You will have a work history and recent experience in other tourism businesses, customer service or reception type roles, with New Zealand references, demonstrating your experience and a friendly, outgoing flexible attitude. Your skills will include General Office Administration, MS Word + Excel and Computerized Property Management Systems.
