Gastropub Duty Manager

Based in the heart of Raumati Beach, in the vibrant Raumati Village, Boundary Tap & Kitchen is seeking to enhance our team with a Gastropub Duty Manager as we get ready for the summer.

We need a great personality with a service-focused drive to help develop our food & beverage offering for the future.

The primary purpose of this new role is to lead an efficient, profitable, customer-focused Front of House team in our venue.

You will be reporting to Owner/ Operator. And part of Senior Management team of Restaurant Manager, Head Chef & 2IC Chef.

Additionally, you are to ensure all legal and company processes are met including: Liquor Licencing, Health & Safety and Food Safety.

The venue also includes Gaming & TAB as part of its services. While previous experience is beneficial, this is not essential as training provided.

As a Gastropub Duty Manager, you are a leader, trainer and mentor to all Front of House team.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• At least 1 years’ experience in a Hospitality or similar • Must be 20 years old to apply for General Managers certificate if does not currently hold • Exceptional customer skills with a passion for pushing the boundaries • Proven leadership and communication skills managing small teams • Previous experience in achieving operational practices • Ability to empower team by passing on knowledge and experience • Hands on role during key service times – weekends and evenings included • Ability to follow and execute Liquor Licencing & Health & Safety plan and follow company procedures • High personal standards passed on to entire team • Weekend availability essential • Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
