Mangere based food packaging manufacturer is looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator/Advisor to join the team. You will be responsible for providing guidance, advice and support to managers and staff on all Health, Safety and Environmental matters. Coordinating site inductions, safety meetings and toolbox talks on HSE matters. HSE documentation and control upkeep. Supporting managers to investigate and record incidents, and develop employee return to work programmes. You must have a relevant qualification in HSE or relevant experience, ideally in a similar role within manufacturing or a similar industry. There is occasional travel to Wellington required. Job Requirements
You must have a relevant qualification in HSE or relevant experience. Sound understanding of current NZ workplace health and safety legislation and plant safety requirements. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Professional standard of written and verbal communication skills. Safety and environmental auditing experience (advantageous) Reliable transport
