Retail Sales Assistant

Employer is looking for a full time Retail Sales Assistant to join their team. Duties includes Assisting with opening and closing procedures, Assist in selling goods to customers and may advise customers of characteristics and prices of goods. Receive payment for goods, operate cash register and issue receipts and dockets. Assist at checkouts, Assist in restocking of shelves and shop displays. Tidy stock and store housekeeping, Wrap and arrange delivery of goods and deliver goods as required. Participate in stocktaking and assisting with storing stock in warehouse in an appropriate manner to enable easy access to stock. Ongoing cleaning duties both internal and external. Any duties that the Store Manager may from time to time require you to carry out pertaining to the nature of the business. Adhering to all business practises and policies Uphold all responsibilities under the Sale of Liquor Act, Assist in filling fridges, chillers, warehouses, shelves etc. Training will be provided by the employer.

Must be available to work 7 days including weekends on rostered basis. Must be Physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved. Must have a restricted driver licence. Minor criminal convictions will be considered on case by case basis.
