Cruise Ship Security Officer

Cruises Ship Security officers needed (Wharf based). Work is available from October to April with exciting ongoing security positions available in the Dunedin Area after the season has finished.

You will be required to work across a 24/7 rotating roster which includes weekends, late nights and public holidays.

As a Security Officer you must be able to complete and pass the induction and training requirements and deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. People with a strong customer service background coupled with a Certificate of Approval are encouraged to apply.

Key Tasks include; Provide a security service in line with the site Standard Operating Procedures and customer requirements to protect the customer’s employees, property, and other assets. Deliver the highest levels of customer service Deliver a consistently accurate and discreet Security-focused experience to all visitors, guests, and employees at the designated site(s). Ensure the safety and protection of customer’s people, property, and information, in a knowledgeable and service-oriented manner, ensuring an unobtrusive and comfortable environment. Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Allied Security Ltd, promoting a positive image for our customer. Answer queries from the public, customers/visitors, and employees

Previous Security experience preferred however full training will be given.

Applicants for this role will need to undergo a Ministry of Justice Background check and hold a minimum of a restricted drivers licence.

Obtain and maintain a Security COA Be able to work independently

A good level of physical fitness

A good level of personal presentation

Have a minimum of a restricted drivers licence and reliable transport.

Have excellent communication skills.
