Mechanic

KAIAPOI: Our employer in beautiful Kaiapoi is looking for Full-Time Mechanic to urgently join their team. Our workshop is a small modern north facing, clean and well-organized workshop has excellent lighting and is well equipped with three hoists, a separate tyre bay with a scissor lift hoist, latest testing equipment, lathe and 50Ton press etc. Our company pride itself on good working conditions and low stress environment. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday position, with over time available from time to time. We could offer a Part-Time role to the right candidate. Duties include but are not limited to: • Warrant of Fitness (W.O.F.) inspections. • Lite car servicing.

Days and hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm.

Pay Rate: $30 to $40 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge. • Reliable and honest. • Calm nature. • WOF Certificate or the ability to get one. • Have good attention to details • You must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process. • Full clean Class 1 Drivers License. • hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency.
