Waterways Team Leader
About this job
A Team Leader is needed to oversee and supervise several groups who perform a variety of labouring tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the stormwater basins, waterways and rivers. Additionally, you will also be needing to aid and assist Working Team Leaders and Crew Leaders that maintain all stormwater assets associated to the Stormwater & Waterways contract.
Day to Day you will:
- Be responsible for overseeing, supervising and training Waterways crews. - Communicate effectively with supervisor and other stakeholders to coordinate work and resolve any issues that might arise. - Oversee groups of crew and work sites - Plan and organise forward works program for crews - Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the contract specifications via internal auditing and worksite inspections - Document work progress and complete workflows required

- Full Class 1 Drivers License - Experience leading large groups and training staff - Extensive labouring experience - Passing a medical assessment and drug and alcohol testing. - MoJ check where convictions are considered case by case.
