Orchard Supervisor

Te Puke based employer is looking for a Kiwifruit Orchard Supervisor. Work is required at various orchards in Te Puke. Duties include Daily management, leading and training team of orchard workers from various cultural backgrounds, Ensuring company Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed, Conducting all aspects of vine maintenance work including thinning, pruning, picking,harvest, stringing etc, Achieving orchard production targets set by Managers and Growers, Monitoring the growth and health of crops, Managing admin tasks, record keeping, staff timesheets, data entry, Assisting in the coordination of labour supply, orchard services and plan staffing requirements based on customer demand, Mapping of orchards when required, record total number of vines, bays and maintenance requirements in each orchard.
Job Requirements
Must have min 3 years experience. Must be able to pass a drug test and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. Must have at least a restricted driver licence and be working towards obtaining a full licence, and have own transport
- Days of work
- 7 day rotating roster. 7.30am to 7pm (37.5 hours per week)
