Bar Manager

A local Waitara employer is looking for an experienced Bar Manager for their well-known and popular establishment. The ideal candidate will be able to create a fostering, welcoming and inclusive environment for all our patrons.

Duties include: • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. • Handle inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and reordered, as necessary. • Manage staff shifts • Uphold high customer service standards and address any customer concerns. • Train, supervise, and mentor bar staff to ensure consistent service. • Monitor and maintain the quality of beverages and food served. • Manage the bar's financial aspects, including cash handling, budget creation, and financial reporting. • Ensure compliance with the law and regulations.

Applicants must have proven experience in a bar management role or a similar capacity. Hold a valid LCQ Licence. Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and staff management. Demonstrated ability to manage staff and achieve financial goals. Deep understanding of beverage and food service, inventory management, and cost control techniques. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Hours and pay to be discussed.
