A Lower Hutt based employer is searching for a Kaiwhakapumau/Support Worker to join their team. The Kaiwhakapumau role is responsible for supporting with the day-to-day management of the supported accommodation service for tāne, that have been released from prison or who are at risk of being placed on remand or recalled to prison. This includes: • Overnight shifts, at the whare • Weekend rostering • Providing external activities and excursions • Positive learning experiences for tāne The successful candidate will preferably have high-level experience and professional expertise in support work, but those with transferrable skills are also encouraged to apply. Job Requirements

Must be able to pass a pre-employment Police check. Must have an up-to-date CV. Must have the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of people. Must be able to work across a 24/7 roster, flexibility a must. Must be willing to learn.
