Assistant Property Manager
About this job
The role of an assistant property manager is to assist the management of residential properties. The Assistant Property Manager needs to work with tenants, property owners and contractors to ensure properties are inspected and maintained as required, manage enquiries for available properties and complete administration tasks relating to tenancies. Tasks & responsibilities • Completing routine property inspections. • This includes scheduling and attending the inspection, taking photos, creating a report and sending to the landlord • Following up on any concerns from inspections or on the property. Communicating with tenants, tradespeople and owners about maintenance. • Ensuring maintenance requests are followed up to completion. • Performing Entry and exit inspections. • Conducting property viewings with prospective tenants and updating landlords with applications. • Processing tenant applications, performing reference checks, background checks and credit checks. • Tenancy administration such as completing Tenancy Agreements, issuing notices, checking daily emails and responding/filing accordingly. • Assist the property manager as required. Preferably someone with experience but not necessary Must be able to work unsupervised and have internet as this position will initially be working from home. Must be able to pass Drug and MOJ checks
Job Requirements
Must be computer savvy. Have own reliable transport. Be well presented and have excellent communication skills. No facial tattoos Contactable referee's
