Meat Processing Worker

A local Te Kuiti based Meat Processing Factory seeks Meat Processing Workers for various roles. Vacancies available in following departments; Boning Floor, Packing Floor, Chillers (part time) and Freezers. Applicants must pass a health and drug check and have reliable transport to get to work. You will be psychically fit, a team player, strong, good hygiene practises and be able to stand for long periods of time. Slaughter floor, you will work a 7-day roster working 4 days on 2 days off 1pm to midnight. This role requires you to be able to work with blood, edible and inedible products and offal products. Boning Floor, you will work a 7-day roster working 4 days on 2 days off 1pm to midnight. This role involves breaking down the carcass, cutting and preparing meats according to customer specification. Packing Floor, you will work a 7-day roster working 4 days on 2 days off 1pm to midnight. This role involves you weighing, packing and sorting products to customer specification. Freezers, you will work a 7-day roster working 4 days on 2 days day or night shift available. Lifting boxes 20kg+ will need to be physically fit, sorting and stacking cartons of product, picking orders, and putting pallets into cold storage, and relocating as required. Loading containers and packing for transport A forklift license is great! But not a must as training can be arranged on site. PERKS the employer provides Dinner every Tuesday & Thursday.
