Support Worker

We are looking for passionate Reintegration Team Coaches/Kaiwhakaako to work in this residential service on permanent nightshift. We are seeking a range of multi-skilled enthusiastic and energetic people to form part of a dream team in our new service. As this role is working with tāne in the justice system, staff will undergo drivers licence checks, Drug and Alcohol testing procedures, and criminal conviction checks.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role:
Be passionate about making a real difference for tāne, whānau and their communities. Be empathetic and be able to build rapport with people from very diverse backgrounds. Have exceptionally high standards and awareness ofboundaries and ethics. Have a level of computer literacy – Microsoft suite Have a range of life skills with the ability to role model positive behaviour Be able to manage challenging situations. Have an understanding of challenges and barriers that tāneface in the justice system Have an understanding of Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga and be able to reflect this in working with Māori clients & whānau.
