Security Guard

Static Guards needed for Part time and Full-time work Wellington CBD. We are looking to cover the Friday and Saturday shifts (from 8pm to 4am), but also have daytime and overnight shifts available. Duties involve but are not limited to working at events and licensed premises (bars): this includes checking bags, managing crowds, checking ids and intoxication levels, and ensuring staff and crowd safety. Events range from concerts to conferences and sports games. Weekday shifts will involve monitoring entrances, exits and interiors of buildings, ensuring the safety and security of buildings and their staff. You may be monitoring cameras, standing at entrances/exits, greeting people. We train our staff with security certifications to achieve a COA and put staff into first aid training. Security does mean there can be a lot of standing or walking, so please keep that in mind. We are seeking mature applicants who are willing to undertake the required training to obtain a COA (Certificate of Approval) and who are flexible and reliable to work varied shifts.
