Stone Benchtop Installer

An Auckland based employer is looking for a Stone Benchtop Installer to work in West Auckland. Duties includes :  Carrying out the installation of kitchen solid stone benchtops in new builds  Taking accurate measurements of the kitchen area to determine the size and shape of the benchtop required.  Using specialised tools and equipment to cut the benchtop materials to the required dimensions.  Transporting the fabricated benchtops to the installation site  Ensuring proper alignment, levelling, and sealing of the benchtops.  Adhering to safety protocols and industry standards during all phases of the installation process  Work with and around other trades on site  Liaise with customers on site.

 Some experience in solid stone would be an advantage, however, full training will be provided.  You have loads of initiative, a good practical mindset, and the desire to complete a quality job.  You are a self-starter with the ability to manage your time autonomously.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  You will need to be physically fit & able to lift 25kg.  Be able to work unsupervised and in a team.  Full, clean NZ driver’s license required.  You must also have a clear criminal history. Must be reliable, hardworking and committed to work. Pass police check and drug free
