Ground Maintenance Person

An Auckland based employer is looking for a Ground Maintenance person to work in Penrose( sites all over Auckland). Duties includes : Ensure gardens are lush and vibrant for all to enjoy.  Assist with the general upkeep of grounds and facilities.  Ensures that all equipment is maintained and used appropriately to achieve maximum working life and high standards of safety.  Maintain a clean and ordered site.  Ensure properties are swept, tidy and prepped for final inspections.  Rubbish removal and cleanliness.  Can drive a manual vehicle, pick up materials and transport team members to different sites.  Be a 'go to' helper - you will be going from site to site, supporting the experienced trade team.

 You need to have 1+ years’ experience working in landscaping or in property maintenance.  Can drive a manual vehicle, pick up materials and transport team members to different sites You are reliable, super organised and have good time management skills.  This is a physical role and requires a good level of fitness (some heavy lifting involved)  You are confident in using hand tools, power tools and operating maintenance machinery.  You have excellent communication skills.  NZ Full Driver’s License  Your own tools would be a benefit. You must be reliable, hard working and committed to work. Pass Police check and drug test.
