Deckhand, Fishing

Full time positions are now available for multiple Deckhands to serve on a medium sized long Line vessel for a 12 month period based out of Whitianga. Normal deckhand duties, including handling and unloading the catch, cleaning duties for a long line vessel, baiting of lines and gutting fish. Experience of at least six months as a fisheries deckhand is required. If you have a NZ Deckhand Qualifications or equivalent that would be a definite advantage. You will be out at sea for up to 11 days .The workplace and living areas are confined situations. We operate on a strictly no violence ,no abuse and no aggressive behaviour basis. Remuneration will based on the traditional % of catch share system with a base rate of $26.70 per hour. Must be very physically fit, as there is heavy some heavy lifting involved.
