A well-established employer is looking for a Accounts receivable admin to join their team in Auckland.

This role is based in the company’s Mt Wellington support office.

In this role, you will be responsible for all the administrative tasks required to support the credit controllers. Key to your success in this role is your accounts receivable experience and your ability to establish effective relationships with your internal and external customers.

This is a busy role and will suit a candidate with accounts, admin and customer service experience looking for their next challenge. Able to process large volumes of work daily, you’ll have a passion for process improvement with intermediate knowledge of Excel.

Exposure to Oracle system and accounts would be favourable but not essential.

You will be directly reporting to the Accounts receivable manager.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in a high volume, multi-site, inventory-based environment analysing data, receiving, recording and resolving queries in relation to financial transactions • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work, manage time effectively in order to meet agreed deadlines • Responsibility for credit checking and screening new account applications • Processing daily banking and managing debtor insurance • Responsibility as first point of contact for the AR inbox and directing enquiries to credit controllers • Effective problem-solving skills and tenacity to resolve issues with customer accounts and inventory transactions • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork • High attention to detail as data accuracy is critical in all aspects of the role • Experience with a large ERP software (Oracle is desirable), with the confidence to learn new systems, processes, and procedures • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel • Ensuring Health & Safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
