Laundry Assistants

Requirements & Skills:

Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment Physical stamina when remaining stationary for extended periods and moving laundry loads. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks throughout each shift. Sorting linens, towels, other laundry items by colour, size and material Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols Folding, Ironing, Wrapping linen for delivery. Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment. Unloading laundry from commercial dryers Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener Creating laundry tags with identifiable information for delivery Creating invoices for laundry orders

To apply for this job, you must:

Have proven work experience of one year as a Laundry Attendant or in similar role will be preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate. Flexible shifts 5:30AM to 4:00PM or 3:00PM to 9:30PM Available for weekend work. Be reliable. Be able to follow instructions and safe work practices. Have precision, accuracy, and attention to detail. Be a team player. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must have a NZ Full & Clean Driving License and able to drive both automatic and manual preferred. Applicants for this position should have the right to work in New Zealand.
