Bakery Assistant Manager

The Bakery Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Bakery Manager in the management and leadership of the Bakery team, product ranging and quality control.
The key tasks for this role are: • Assisting with leading and training a production and retail focused team • Management of product ranging, production scheduling and quality control • Ensuring excellence of store display standards • Assisting with efficient work practices within the team • Ensuring our high levels of customer service standards are met • Meeting company objectives for the department • Compliance with the Food Control Plan and Health & Safety requirements
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have the following experience, qualities and skills: • A Bakery Qualification of Level 3 or higher or extensive experience in a bakery • Previous experience in a bakery or supermarket environment • Passionate about baking, new food trends and delivering outstanding quality products • Effective organisational skills, strong communication skills and can motivate and inspire a team • Excellent computer skills, experience with stock management and knowledge of SAP operating system would be beneficial • Flexibility • An ability to cope well under pressure
