Admissions Team Member

Local tourist attraction is getting ready for an awesome Summer 2023-2024. We are looking for new permanent and casual (on-call) kaimahi to join our fun, friendly Admissions Team. This includes general admissions team members Our Admissions Team are the welcoming face of our organisation. They are the first point-of contact for manuhiri from around the motu and world, whether by phone, email or kanohi ki te kanohi. The Admissions team work together to provide a great visitor experience for all manuhiri. Our team take pride in ensuring world-class customer service for our manuhiri by making every visit enjoyable. To be successful in this role you will bring: A genuine, warm welcome for all manuhiri. An interest in meeting and assisting manuhiri from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Prior experience in booking systems, point of sale and retail, or the ability to learn new systems and processes. A can-do, friendly and collaborative attitude. A desire to authentically share our culture, values and manaakitanga with others.

A positive attitude. Reliable cash handling and reconciliation. An interest in our beautiful retail that showcases Māori, local and eco products. Your ability to contribute to a multi-award winning visitor experience and culture. Knowledge of customer service or visitor experience. Knowledge of booking systems, such as Fareharbour, would be an advantage. A relevant qualification that would support your ability to carry out the role. An interest in tourism would be an advantage but is not essential.
