Wool Handler/Presser
About this job
We are looking for Wool Handlers and Pressers to work until approx. August for a local Winton business. You will assist the shearing team in the removal of wool, sorting and packaging of wool. This involves setting up the work area ready for shearing or crutching and then preparing the wool to the standard set. You must follow instructions from the leading Wool Handler, work as a team (including shearers) and help maintain a good workflow from the shearers through to the pressing and packaging of the wool. You wiIl be expected to work quickly and efficiently while keeping the work area neat and tidy. No experience necessary as full training will be given but you must be physically fit, and a good team player with good social skills. You must be prepared to abide by drug and alcohol, health and safety, and driving policies held within the business. Accommodation provided. Transport from Winton also available. Pay from $22.70-$32ph dep. on experience. Immediate start!
