With a key focus on GROWING OUR OWN, once again SkyCity’s Project Nikau is calling out youth aspiring to be their ambassadors. The focal point will be to train their own Rangatahi through a 3-week comprehensive programme. Their programme will incorporate a blend of work readiness at SkyCity, industry professionals sharing knowledge, on-site training/work experience and a core cultural component that speaks to a young person’s hauora and wellbeing. The aim is to minimise barriers to first-time employment, building their capability and ensuring they transition seamlessly into full-time foundation level positions. This is a 3-week paid training and it will be guaranteed job at the end of it. This programme is for 18-24 years youth (M and PI) with paid employment offering at least 30 hours a week. Job Requirements
Reliability - have transport or a transport plan into the CBD. Great attitude and passionate. Keen to work. Māori & Pasifika youth aged from 18 – 24yrs. Ready for a start date of 31st of July. Pre-screening week: 3rd to 7th July. Ready to be paid for three weeks of training Mon - Fri, 9am - 3.30pm @ $23.40 Guaranteed full-time employment roles in Hospitality - Hotels (Housekeeping), Cleaners, Food and Beverage (Waiters, Bussers) Foundational level roles - no experience necessary 2 Forms of ID: at least 1 Photo ID - Drivers Licence, Passport
