Russell based employer is looking for a full time Heavy Equipment Operator to join their small team. In this role you will be operating a modern fleet of well-maintained vehicles and equipment. Work consists of retaining walls, prepping house sites, haulage, concrete work, track maintenance, high end landscaping and everything in between meaning no two days are the same. This may include operating tip trucks, 2.5-16tonne excavators, load/dump trucks, and at times a hammer or shovel.

You will need at least a full class 1 licence and your own transport to get to the yard in Russell. Class 2 or above, along with WTR, is beneficial.

If you are keen and have a full licence but don't have the experience or other certifications get in touch as the employer is looking for a general labourer also.

Job Requirements

Minimum of class 1 full licence, own transport to get to Russell, and be willing to get Class 2. Class 2 or higher is preferred along with WTR. Ideally have experience operating digger/excavator. Be physically fit. Have an up to date CV with 3 contactable references. Be drug free. Convictions considered on a case by case basis.

Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm (40 hours per week)

$30-35 per hour depending on experience
