Quality Control

A Lower Hutt-based employer has a permanent role available for the position of Quality Control (QC). Your primary role is to test, check, pack and process powder coated goods through our powder-coating factory. You will need an exceptional eye for detail, a good understanding of Health and Safety, and some basic administration and computer skills. You will also be crossed-trained across all areas of the factory, where you will learn to powder coat and process pre-treatment of metals prior to powder coating. Daily tasks will range from customer service, correct identification of customer products to identifying and rejecting defects on products. Training is provided for the role. This role is available for immediate start on a minimum of 40 Hours a week between the hours of 6am-5pm Mon-Fri. If this job opportunity sounds like you, Apply now!

First Aid Cert and Forklift License would be advantageous but not required. You will need to follow H&S protocols and provide your own safety boots (steel caps), all other PPE will be provided. Successful applicants may need to pass a drug and alcohol test. This is not an admin role, you will be on your feet and requires some lifting of heavy materials.
