Support Workers

MIDDLETON: Our local care provider is looking for Support Workers who are reliable and have a positive attitude to join their team. The Support Workers visit tangata in their homes to provide personal care. Key Accountabilities:

• Assist with showering, • Household management, • Food preparation • and medication assistance.

Days and Hours of Work: Varies (6.30am-9.00pm estimated) but does require alternative weekend availability. Location of Work also varies from rural Christchurch to Christchurch City. Full training provided for the right candidates. Pay Details: $22.70 per hour (no qualifications) to $28.25 per hour

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: - Must have your own car that is fully road worthy. - Must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process. - Must have a minimum of Restricted Drivers but would prefer a Full Drivers Licence. - Must have a Smart Phone for logging in visits - Must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency, or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit. - Must have a great attitude and a strong work ethic. - Must be physically fit and reliable. - Must be available to work alternative weekends.
