Mobility Consultant

A Lower Hutt mobility supplies store is seeking for a solution finding salesperson to join their team and help customer find the equipment to solve their needs. This role is predominantly a face-to-face retail sales position. Daily tasks will include greeting customers, discussing their individual needs to find a solution, creating rental agreements for our rehabilitation equipment, restocking the showroom, and assisting in other areas as required. We also visit local retirement villages to share our equipment with those that cannot make it to our store. You will be required to work 9am-12pm on a Saturday but will get a half day off through the week. You will be part of a very supportive team of six that enjoy the reward of the difference they make in people’s lives. This is a varied role; no two days are the same. We use MYOB and a complex point of sale system to process sales and rental contracts so if you have intermediate level computer skills, can relate to people from all walks of life we want to hear from you.

Must be able to pass an MOJ check. You will be a people person, genuine interest in helping people, patient, fast learner, must be able to work Saturday morning, flexible to assist in all types of work as the need arises - move stock - assist with online sales - cleaning rental equipment. Must be a competent technology user able to pick up new skills quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
