About this job

• Complete all tasks in accordance with health and safety regulations. • Inspects company equipment for possible Faults or issues and report findings to the appropriate person. • Attends to small building projects when assigned. • Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs. • Updates the maintenance log after each job has been completed to ensure the electronic log remains accurate. • Clean carpets and appropriate products as requested or when required. • Gardening. • Ensure all required maintenance products are available and purchased as needed. • Cleaning house windows when required.• Responsible for waste management (removing excess waste to refuse station). • Assisting with house moves when required. • To carry out any other reasonable maintenance duty as directed by the Business Manager. • Purchasing of products or supplies needed for specified building project or repair. • Attends to moving Service Users internally when directed by Service Managers. • Sources furniture or other household supplies when requested / directed.

Job Requirements

• Possess a current, clean, full, New Zealand drivers’ licence. • Ability to manage and prioritise work load. • Ability to carry out tasks in a timely fashion. • Team player. • Computer literacy (intermediate level) • Proven ability to work unsupervised if needed. • Strong background in handling maintenance equipment and tools in a safe manner. • The ability to assist with moving heavy equipment or furniture on occasion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills full drivers licence and Fully vaccinated
