Fire Alarm Technician

A company providing multi-disciplined building services ranging from building compliance to the design, installation and maintenance of fire protection systems and annual surveys of Building Warrant of Fitness systems, and sprinkler systems in commercial and domestic buildings has a vacancy for a Fire Alarm Technician or Cadet. You will be self motivated, have the ability to work unsupervised once trained, health and safety conscious, highly customer service focused, have a common sense approach and excellent written and oral communication skills. An electrical or mechanical background is advantageous along with a desire to further your technical knowledge in other disciplines. Full on the job training will be provided with an opportunity to gain relevant NZQA qualifications and you will be on call once fully trained

Current full NZ drivers licence is required. Candidates need to be computer literate in Word, Excel and iphones, be well presented, and have the ability to pass a security check and drug test. You must be available to work on call once fully trained
