Teacher of Te Reo Maori / Maori Performing Arts: We are looking for a positive, innovative, caring and enthusiastic teacher with the following attributes to be part of our school-wide change and improvement journey. You need to be someone who can inspire our students on their literacy and critical thinking journey and to lead them to do their best. Proficiency in Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga Experience and understanding of the Culturally Responsive and Relational Pedagogy Willingness to work collaboratively with highly motivated, dynamic and visionary colleagues in the Maori department, Reo Rua and wider school. Experience in literacy and / or numeracy Experience in Kapa Haka at competition level. Experience in NCEA Level 1-3 qualifications Experience in working with Maori and Pasifika youth. Knowledge of and understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum. Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
