Dairy Farm Assistant

This position is more of a senior farm assistant-entry 2ic role, we encourage current 2ics to apply. Located just out of Rotorua on Tauranga side. You will be milking 480 cows run as one herd through a 42 ASHB with in shed feeding, ACR and in race teat spray. Colostrums are milked OAD and herd TAD until November, to go onto 3n2 for rest of season. To be considered for this role you will need the following, Able to run the cowshed at an efficient pace while keeping an eye out for detail regarding animal health. You must be a team player with a sense of humour. Good time management and ability to work alone and still be productive. Definitely must be competent on a tractor operating a silage wagon and loader. Have a current nz drivers licence. The ability to get out of bed when you are rostered on....if you cant then please do not apply. You MUST be a New Zealand resident and in New Zealand to apply for this role, overseas applicants unfortunately will not be considered.
