Asbestos Demolition Worker

A Takapuna-based company is urgently needing applicants to join its busy team as Asbestos/General Demolition/ Workers. Responsibilities include the removal of asbestos from buildings (ceilings, walls, beams, boilers and other structures) while following hazardous waste handling guidelines. You will be assembling scaffolding and sealing off required work areas, using plastic sheeting and duct tape to ensure a safe work area and cleaning the work area of loose asbestos. You must be able to pass medical checks and ideally, with current Class A and B Asbestos Certificates plus Site Safe. Previous experience would be preferred but is not essential. Applicants will need to be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Full training will be provided to successful candidates including training for the Class A and B Asbestos course.
