After School Childcare Worker

ASHBURTON: Based in Ashburton, we are looking for an after-school care worker to help with the running of our OSCAR Programmes that provides activities and games for children that range in ages from 5 to 13. • A part-time role of 15 hours per week - the role is 10 hours per week after school care, and 5 hours a week as an administration assistant and other duties when required. • We have 2 x positions available with shifts being 7am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm, these can be split shifts if you require which is 22 hours per week, or you can just do individual shifts, morning, or afternoon. • You must be flexible in that you can work across our 3 sites based out of Allenton, Hampstead, and Rakaia. • The ideal candidate is reliable, has a great attitude and likes to get down and play with the children. • You are responsible for supervising of the children in a safe and healthy environment. $23.00 per hour, starting rate, after completing training - New Pay rate will be $25.00 per hour.
You must be able to reach the below prerequisite to be considered for this role. • The ideal candidate will preferably have a Full Class 1 Driver Licence and a current First Aid Certificate. • Be able to pass a police check as part of our employment process. • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, as part of our employment process • You must be a team player, but able to work unsupervised when required. • hold NZ citizenship, NZ Permanent Residency, or a Valid NZ Work Permit.
