About this job
We are looking for five enthusiastic Chef’s to be part of our team at the Wellington Airport. In this position you will be responsible for assisting the Manager with the daily operation of the Kitchen, preparing, cooking and presenting food ensuring the quality of lunches we serve are of top quality, health and Safety is our number 1 rule, you will be an advocate and role model for safety in the workplace and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
Reliable, flexible, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, minimum 2 years experience in a production kitchen environment, hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168) and Level 5 Cookery qualifications, will form great rapport with suppliers, delivery personnel and kitchen staff, will be great with numbers, must be confident with Microsoft applications and computer use, will have a flexible approach and the ability to keep calm under pressure.
