Motorcycle Workshop Assistant
About this job
The role would ideally suit someone with a love of small engine machinery, Motorcycles and a can do attitude. The role is part time approx. 10-20 hours per week but seasonally could vary as the business gets busier. The Candidate must have a drivers licence to be able to do pickups and must have the ability to use a trailer, a can do attitude is important but while operating machinery safely is an absolute priority. The Work would suit someone that has a Class 6 full licence but note this is not essential as other options exist for transporting motorcycles. Employer has a motorcycle collection, from time to time Motorcycles will need to be moved from their static location for cleaning the floors, Physical strength is important as some motorcycles are heavy and tightly nested with other machines. Knowing when to ask for help is a prerequisite rather than damaging a machine that would be outside one person’s ability.
