Orchard Hand

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Orchardist to join our Heretaunga team. This is a seasonal position based in Fernhill, Napier. These roles cover a variety of operational tasks such as machinery from tractors, forklifts, diggers and drain jetters. You will be a team player, with a can-do attitude and ability to think on the spot and solve problems. You’ll have a passion for excellence and the ability to adopt new technology. You’ll show a willingness to learn and be able to work flexible hours as the season dictates.You will also have, Good initiative and be able to run and motivate teams, Experience operating machinery, tractors, forklifts. Planning and time management skills, Attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills, A good level of physical fitness and be able to work outdoors for up to 8 hours at a time. Preferred but not essential: Forklift Licence, Tractor / Machinery experience
