Kitchen Hand, Food Preparation

Looking for a multi-functional team member to work in the kitchen and the laundry. They provide excellent, holistic, and person-centred residential care services. This means that everything they do is aimed at caring for the total well-being of the residents in an affirming and positive way and continuously striving to find even better ways to provide the best clinical care. WHAT YOU WILL DO: In the kitchen: • Wash dishes and remove rubbish • Unload and put away food and other supplies • Clean all kitchen surfaces, including the floors and equipment wash, • Peel and chop vegetables • Prepare other food if needed. In the Laundry: • Sorting through dirty linen • Sorting and distributing resident’s clothes • Machine Operating • Lifting, bending and standing for extended periods • Following safe work procedures Full training provided Days will alternate bet

• Must be able to do a rotating roster, including weekends. • Must be a team player. • Must have good time management. • Must have a great sense of humour. • Must have a good level of fitness. • Must promote a high standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation. •C19 vaccination required due to the role being in healthcare Hours required - Kitchenhand hours: 6:30am – 1:00pm Laundry hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm
