Health Support Worker

Looking for mature and resilient people for entry level Support Worker positions in Wellington. We have permanent part time and full-time positions available. For all roles, flexibility is essential due to various shifts. In this role you would be working with people with an intellectual disability in their residence, who have complex behavioural needs. You will be supporting clients in their daily living needs, enabling them to recognise their potential and develop the skills they need to participate in their communities. This is a challenging but rewarding role, looking for people who enjoying working with a challenging environment, where you will need to work well by yourself. Experience not essential as training will be provided. Must be physically fit. Must hold restricted or full drivers’ licence, have own reliable transport. Must pass drug test, criminal convictions considered case by case
