Security Control Room Operator

URGENTLY seeking 2-3 FT Control Room Operators for an Alarm Monitoring company in Hillcrest who operate 24/7. This is a fast-paced role where you need to have great attention to detail and can remain calm in high stress situations. You could dispatch Security Officers to investigate alarms and respond to incidents, escalate as procedure states and to the best of own judgement. Notify emergency services when external response is required. Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers in an effective, timely and professional manner. Vaccination is a requirement for this role. Ability to obtain a COA through passing drug and police checks. Own transport and Full licence due to varied shifts. Some Call Centre type experience is essential as you need to be comfortable on the phone. Must have excellent clear communication/phone manner skills with a smile in their voice, the ability to work under pressure, and have sound keyboard with data entry skills. Have full and flexible availability to work rostered shifts is mandatory.
