As an important member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and household services team.
•This is a hands on role to work alongside the team to prepare, cook, serve delicious food to our residents, promoting safe food handling practices. •In this role you will also support the wider household services team to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility. •While ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and household services, you keep in mind that this is the resident’s home and more than just a workplace. •Qualifications in food preparation or cooking is preferred. Current Safe Food Handling Certificate preferred or have the willingness to work towards one •Knowledge/experience of food services/household services preferred
Job Requirements
•2+ years experience leading a team in kitchen/household services •Good organisational skills •Great team player •Competent problem solver who can make sound decisions •Able to demonstrate a commitment to the provision of quality services •Compassion towards care of our elderly residents, ability to engage with them •Excellent communication skills •Successful applicant will be fully Covid vaccinated and have at least 2 Covid booster shots.
